In-House Counsel (Legal & Compliance)

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced In-House Counsel (Legal & Compliance) to join the business and support a broad range of legal and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with teams across the organization and reporting directly to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, this role will provide practical, business-focused legal and compliance guidance to support commercial activities and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Support

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, operational, and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements including commercial, employment, software, and marketing contracts
• Support corporate governance activities and strategic initiatives
• Advise on gaming regulations, data protection, AML/CFT, IP, IT, employment, and commercial law
• Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and internal documentation
• Support trademark and intellectual property matters
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across jurisdictions

Compliance Advisory & Support

• Provide practical, risk-based compliance advice across gaming, AML/CFT, marketing, and consumer protection
• Support compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Assist with licences, certifications, audits, and renewals across multiple jurisdictions
• Contribute to risk management activities and regulatory reporting
• Support compliance monitoring and remediation initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external audits

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an in-house Legal Counsel within the iGaming industry (preferably B2B) or a similarly regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of gaming, corporate, commercial, employment, IT, AML/CFT, and IP laws and regulations
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience
• Exposure to licence applications, certifications, audits, and regulatory proceedings
• Advanced written and spoken English
• Business-oriented mindset with a collaborative and structured approach
• Willingness to travel occasionally
