QA Automation Engineer

For our client, a growing iGaming platform provider based in Tallinn, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and building reliable, scalable testing frameworks.

You will join a collaborative engineering team where QA is involved throughout the entire development lifecycle – from early planning to deployment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, strengthening automation coverage, and contributing to a quality-driven engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across frontend and backend systems

• Create and maintain API test coverage using Frisby or similar tools

• Perform load and performance testing using tools such as k6 to ensure system reliability and scalability

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases

• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify risks

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous feedback

• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and overall product quality

• Support a culture of ownership and quality across the engineering team

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA automation, including functional, integration, and regression testing

• Strong experience with frontend automation tools such as Cypress or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks

• Hands-on experience with API automation testing (Frisby or equivalent tools)

• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as k6

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) and test integration practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proactive mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
